Your dog must be 7 months old or younger on the start date (July 11, 2026) AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy is an exciting program designed to get dog owners and their puppies off to a good start. AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy is an excellent first in-person training class for puppies. AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy provides a good lead-in to earning the Canine Good Citizen title. You must be able to make all 6 classes for this to work. We can alternatively do make-up sessions for $60 each if you cannot make it. Note there are several Saturdays skipped due to dog events, so make sure these work for you. Classes are very short, just 30 min. Class is required to be 6 weeks. The final class will be an AKC S.T.A.R. evaluation by Hannah Bleak (#104363) Location is TBD depending on vaccination status of puppies. Plan somewhere near 1300 S 1300 W Salt Lake City
